My ancestor's sister, Mary Hawley, married Matthias Swayze in Ontario County, New York about 1790. They then lived at Havre de Grace, Maryland until Matthias died about 1800. Mary returned to Ontario County with her five daughters. There she married Alfred Doud who was later killed during the War of 1812. Do these Doud's and Swayze's tie in with your families?
