Thanks for your message so long ago! No. I haven`t contacted John Sweetman. I am trying to be diplomatic. John might be my Uncle, and there is family distance, though I would like to contact him!I hear he knows a lot about the I.O.W Sweetmans. As I know Uncle John lives in the Surrey area I have to be sensitive about things. Any way would love to hear from you from time to time. Next time I get some info, I`ll let you know. Recently found an extra connection with a New Zealand clan that came from a brother of my great great great grandfather (bn I.O.W) They came from the Brighton area, as did most of their family.
