Daniel, NJ Line, applied 7 Aug 1832 Tioga County, NY aged 66, soldier enlisted in Sussex County, NJ, a granddaughter Mary Slocum aged 40 made aff'dt in 1849 in Chenung County, NY before one JohnSwartwood, JP for said County, a Ruth Barnes aged 75 of Chemung County, NY stated ; the she was married in Nov 1791 and that she knew the soldier and his wife for 60 years and that they had several children when she (Ruth) was married, soldier and widow (Catharine)married in 1783 and he died 26 Feb 1842 and his widow applied 17 Aug 1843 in Chemung County, soldier and widow's 4th child Eleanor "Lany: Van Ette aged 49 made aff'dt in 1843, soldier and widow's son Jacob Swarthwood aged 38 made afff'dt in 1843, Sarah Barne aged 41 made aff'dt in 1843

Jacob, NJ Line, applied 21 Dec 1838 Chemung County, Ny aged 76, soldier lived in Susseex County, Nj at enlistment with James Swartwood (no relationship stated), a James Swartwood aged 87 made aff'dt In Chemung County, NY and stated that he lived in Northampton County, PA and where Gen. Jacob Swartwood lived until 1777 when he moved to Sussex County, NJ and the said Jacob left NJ in 1784 and returned to Northamapton County, PA and later moved to Chemung, NY about 1797, a John Swartwood was referred to

James, PA and NJ Line was born 5 March, Northampton County, PA and he lived there at enlistment in 1800 he moved to Wyoming (state not give) for 1 year, then to Tioga County,NY where he applied 1833. in 1833 a John Swartwood aged 77 a resident of Cayuta, NY stated he lived in Sussex County, NJ during the Rev and had also served in the Rev. with James Swartwood and in 1833 a Peter Swartwood was referred to but no relationship was given, soldier referred to 3 older brothers and a sister
John, NJ and PA Line was born 3 March 1754 in Sussex County, NJ and he lived there until 1802 the moved to Tioga County, NY, where he applied 1833, a James Swartwoood aged 81 a resident of Erin, NY made aff'dt in 1833 , and stated he lived in Northampton County, PA during the Rev.

Moses, PA, married Mary Magdalena, he applied for pension 20 May 1818 Northampton County, PA aged 58, however in 1820 soldier gave his age as nearly 65 with a wife aged 51 and living children of which the youngest was aged 17 and lived at home and the other children supported themselves and soldier stated i 1820 he owed his son Joseph Swartwood $35.00, soldier married Mary Magdalena (?) in 1786 or 87, soldier died 11 Sep 1844 and his widow died 27 March 1850 leaving 3 children; John, Daniel, and Peter Swartwood, widow applied 1845 in Northampton, PA and she stated that he oldest child Jacob Swartwood was born 6 Aug 1790 and he had moved to the west and in 1845 had been dead for several years, the son John Swartwood of Northampton County in 1845 was born 28 April 1797 and was the 4th child of soldier and widow and he referred to his older brothers, Jacob and Joseph both deceased and Daniel who was aged about 50 1845

Peter, Nj line appied 1834 in Tioga County, NY aged about 87, he enlised in Sussex County, NJ where he lived after the Rev. for about 1 year, then returned to Northampton County, PA
