Seeking information on parents of James Swarthout born 22 Oct 1818 probably in NYS. He died 1 Aug 1845 in Whiteside Co, IL. He married in Addison, Steuben Co, NY 29 Dec 1839 Juliette Wells who was d/o James Wells and Catharine Bigelow.
Juliette was born 16 Ag 1818 in Chenango Co, NY and died 17 Jun 1881 in Addison, Steuben Co., NY.
After her husband's death in 1845, sold land to other Swarthouts which included John C. Swarthout and Luther Swarthout and both these Swarthouts purchased items at the estate sale of James.
