Hi Kathy, I have been doing some research on the Swarthout lines like so many others. All I can offer you is the fact that I have documented my lines to Anthony Sr. & Jr. by putting them as supplementals on my Sons of the American Revolution membership. My line comes from Jr. to Lovina Swarthout who married Heman Chapman. Heman's father, Josiah Chapman was also a vet of the Am Rev and is my primary SAR application accepted. Anyway, I am still struggling with who is the wife of Anthony Swarthout Jr., mother of Lovina and siblings and any of her ancestors.
Will be happy to send on a copy of my applications for the Swarthout SAR line in MS Word for the record if you want that.
