Posted by: Brett Mac Donald (ID *****7388) Date: August 13, 2004 at 07:01:00 In Reply to: William S Swarthout, father to Anna B. by PATRICIA HARTSUFF of 617 I have a James A Swarthout - born Albany NY 1843 (his siblings were all born and the family lived in Argusville, Schoharie, NY) He was in Lockport as a mailman after the Civil War (wounded at Gettysburg - 134th NY) when he signed the widows pension app for his sister-in-law.
