Eastern Shore, MD Swanns/Swans -- Roe Connection?

I'm currently researching Swann family roots located in the Eastern Shore MD counties/Lower DE counties. (e.g. kent, de; caroline, md; etc)

Particularly I'm interested in the parentage of James Swann b. abt 1811. I've seen another researcher having him as a son of a Thomas Swann. Usually listed with a bro named Gilbert.

Based on some Caroline Co, MD will extracts, I have the following scraps:

Will Thomas Swan writ 1790, filed 1796
named wife mary, children Thomas, Jane Roe (wife of John Roe), grandson Solomon Swan, son of Solomon.

Will John Roe writ 1795, filed 1798
named wife Jane, children Thomas, John, Benj, Mary, Ann, Deborah, Jane, Sarah

Will Jane Roe write 1810, filed 1811
named dau Sarah Swan (wife of Thomas), grandson Thomas.

My guess:
Thomas Swan(1) d1796 mar Mary Unknown
beget Jane Swan d1811 mar John Roe d1798 (poss a second wf)
beget Sarah Roe mar Thomas Swan(2) (cousins?)
beget Thomas(3) (1809/10), James (abt 1811) and Gilbert.

So I think I have a loop back somewhere...

I get a feeling that the Thomas Swan (who mar Sarah) died intestate and that there may be an orphans court proceeding.
I haven't had a chance to look through land records or the orphans court on this path at the moment, was hoping someone else may have been looking around this branch.

Ideas?
