In Reply to: Will of Stephen Williams - 1767 f/o Mary Williams Swann by Sheryl Williams of 1129

I was searching on behalf of a Swann family researcher and to my knowledge this is not my Williams family line.

I was trying to locate the full transcript for the Will of Stephen Williams, and during this search I came across the following which would appear to be a good match for Stephen's father.

I hope this is helpful.

William Williams of Calvert County, Maryland, and Currituck County, North Carolina. William Williams married about 1690 Mary Tulle, daughter of Benjamin Tulle, of Currutuck, North Carolina, and moved to that place in 1704 and later in 1708 disposed of his lands in Calvert County, Maryland. The court and land records of Calvert County, Maryland, prior to 1850 having been destroyed by fire, the ancestry of said William Williams cannot be thereby traced.
