happy to hear from you. i cannot help regarding item numbers 1,2,3, but items 4&5 are of the greatest interest to me. as to item 5 i have her will and papers relative to estate content. but i do not have anything as to who got what. i had a pro genealogist find the estate papers but due to my other life i have not yet followed up on the identity of the legatees. this is important to me and possibly to you in that the children of brother thomas are named as legatees. as to item 4 there is a long, long standing dispute, at least on the part of my swanns, as to whether the thomas swann who went to tennessee is the son of the thomas/catherine pair. my evidence is this: a josuha lowrance signed estate papers relative to my thomas(1822.) william foster, david foster and samuel barkley signed the thomas swann 1795 will (father of your or my thomas)the married name of the mother of rosannah (wife of my thomas)was foster. also after my thomas death in 1822, in 1827, rosannah came to georgia ccompanied by her mother dinah foster and a mrs. barkley, both probably widows by that time. such being the case there were too many points of contact to be accidental. will try to dig up what i can find re the ann lowrance estate papers. have recent info re my irish swanns (and maybe yours)going back to 1600's more of that later. my email is cygnet73@aol.com Notify Administrator about this message?
