James, I am in further need of your help. I've accumulated more info than when I first started(searching ancestry) but results are moving at a snale's pace. Can you help.... 1) The last piece of information discovered shows my ggd or guncle living in Lauderdale County working for a Wilson Henderson in approximately 1866. An 1840 Census shows both Buck (Burch) Swan(n) and a Wilson Henderson staying in Lauderdale County. Buck Swan has several people staying in his household. Can you identify any of his family or determine whether this is "Burch" or Thomas Burch Swann? 2) The Swan(n)'s and Wilson Henderson appear in many of the same counties. For example Lauderdale County,Ms in 1840; Washington County, AL in 1840; In Choctaw County(usgwarachives.org/al/choctaw/land/blm/choctaw-p-s.txt)shows Wilson Henderson(Packwood Dudley)-3/1843, Alfred Swan-3/1859 and Burch Swann-3/1843 owning land in St. Stephens. And you guessed it! Maury, Tn! is also a county, you will find both Wilson Henderson and the Swan(s).What is the connections. Any Wills,Probates or estates exist for these guys? 3)Also there is a D. Swan (65 yrs female born in Virginia) listed as head of household in the 1850 Census for Choctaw County. Her sons are Joseph (22yr born in Tennessee) and Jackson Swan(18 yrs born in Tenn) 4) Thomas B. Swan(son of Thomas) who moved to Maury,Tn and is Isaac's brother. I'm interested in his Will/ Probate. Does one exist. Thomas B. Jr and James' life in Alabama and/or Mississippi. 5) A Copy of Ann (Swann) Lowrance's Will/ Estate papers. Is there a copy on line. James, Thanks in advance P.S.- I'll send this message to several others in hope of getting answers/ Thanks Notify Administrator about this message?
