RICHMOND, Ind. -- Former Richmond resident Sandra Kay Hamilton, age 58, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2007, at Heritage House, New Castle, Ind.
Born Oct. 24, 1948, in Henry County, Ind., to Kenneth and Virginia Razor Swann, she had lived in Richmond for 20 years. Kay was a graduate of Straughn High School and a member of the Eagles.
She was a printer at the New Castle and Richmond State Hospitals where she worked for 29 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Virginia and Oma Gregory of Dunreith, Ind.; one son, Anthony Hamilton and his wife Kerri of Newburgh, Ind.; four grandchildren, Laci, AJ, Logan and Brandon; one brother, Tony Swann and his wife Sandra of New Castle, Ind.; one sister, Hollis Ann Guffey and her husband Terry of Richmond; nieces, nephews and cousins; special friend, Jennie Wilson.
Graveside services for Sandra Kay Hamilton will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2007, at Mount Summit Cemetery, U.S. Highway 36, Mount Summit, Ind., with Pastor Jim Noggle of First Missionary Baptist Church of Dublin, Ind., officiating. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road W., Richmond, Ind.
