Not sure what you need, but Ephraim Schwanger (Swanger) was born 5Sep1808 in Heidelberg, PA and died 30Jul1853 in Milroy, Mifflin, PA. He was a shoemaker. He was son of Philip Schwanger (Swanger) and Anna Maria Hess. Ephraim lived in Mifflin Co., PA in 1840 and 1850. His first wife (and mother of Savinia) was Sarah Howel. He remarried later to Rebecca Duck. He had five children by his first wife and one by his second. Philip Schwanger was also a shoemaker and was son of Jacob Schwanger, born in Lorraine Province in Germany on 5May1743, and Anna Maria Schmid. Jacob Schwanger came to America as a child with his father Jacob Schwanger, mother Maria Susannah Leyenberger, and five other sibs. They immigrated in 1747 into Philadelphia.
