Hi James,I'm glad that you got back so soon.
I have started to research my family tree.When I went to visit my aunts one give me a package which has a few letters and copies of pictures that your sister sent of the family.There is alot my aunts are not able to tell me.And I'm really hoping you and your family can help.Your sister was trying to trace roots also,I have been told.If I have it right Robert Fields was the father of Gurney.Robert was the son of my greatgrandfather Peter Fields,his father Was Johnathon Fields,all from N.C.I know nothing about Johnathon and this is really keeping me from information I know is out there,I have been checking records but since I don't have a birth date it makes it a little hard.Would love to share any information I have,and I hope you and your family can help me out.Thanks,Annette annetteferguson@msn.com
