Source: The Seattle Times Thursday January 3, 2008 Complete obit. No photo with obit. HANSEL "HANS" SWAGER Was born on February 25, 1920 in Berlin, Germany. He died peacefully surrounded by family on December 30, 2007. HANS came to the U. S. when he was two. He served in the U. S. Army during WWII and became a U. S. citizen while in Algiers. HANS worked as a cement mason and helped build many of Seattle's landmarks such as Lower Queen Anne Post Office, Space Needle, Northgage Mall and University Hospital. Graveside Services will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery (8712 12th Ave NW) on Thursday, January 3rd at 2:oo p.m. I am a Seattle WA resident, not related to this family.
