I am looking for any information on William A. Swab, b. 6/5/1836, d. 1882. He married Eliza (Elisa) Eshelman (no date of marriage). Eliza was born 12/12/1841 and died 1926.
Their children were:

Edith/Mary Louisa, b. 10/2/1861
John A., b.3/6/1863
Cora Idella, b. 6/16/1864
Harry Wibster, b. 2/13/1866
Edw./Edwin E., b. 7/19/1868
Charles M., b. 12/2/1870
William C., b. 4/2/1872
Rosa May, b. 5/3/1873
Samuel David, b. 6/19/1875
Henry Allen, b. 12/17/1877
Annie Clarissa, b. 9/18/1879
James Albert, b. 9/9/1881
Their son Samuel David Swab, b.6/19/1875, Lancaster, IL., d. 6/19/1959, Rockford, Iowa. He is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Greene, IA. He married Clara Jane Eikenberry, 3/18/1894 in Greene, IA.
My grandmother has said that Schwab was another possible spelling of their name. She thinks that there was a disagreement in the family and one side changed the spelling to Swab.
I can find no further information on William A. Swab and his wife, Eliza (Elisa) Ann Eshelman. Does anyone have any information on them?
