hypolite suzor/denise gautlier, canada to massachusetts
Hi,I am also a descendant of the suzor family. my great great grandparents are Hypolite suzor born in 1844 and denise Gauthier born in 1849 and died in Ludlow,Ma. in 1929. They had 13 children and 6 are listed on this forum. They where married in ST. Valentine of Quebec May 3,1870. Also on the forum inf. census 1881 a Felix Suzor 94 Louisa Suzor 74. In a family Bible Felix Suzor deceased in 1884 living to 97,born in 1787-1884, and Louisa Suzor maiden name Sabourin 74,deseased in 1890,born in 1807-1890. These being the parents Hypolite Suzor 1844-1898. Yes the family had moved to Ludlow, Ma. in the early 1890's but Hypolite didn't like it the USA and return to Canada. His wife sent word to him that there youngest was very sick. He came back on Train and in White River Junction ,VT. he got of train for some reason. He never made it to Ludlow. He was found frozen in the near the train station, maybe foul play not sure. Denise 1849-1929 is buried in ST. Aloysius cemetery and family members to. Hypolite 1844-1898 is buried in Canada. A town called ST.George de Clarenceville in the cemetery there. This is next to ST.Thomas and Noyan.
