Urias was the son of Gasaway Rogers Sutterfield, b. Sep 26, 1806 S.C., d. Sep 18, 1868 Searcy Co., and Mary Ann Darby, b. Oct 16, 1807, d. sep 18, 1864 Searcy Co.

Gasaway was the son of Peter Moore Sutterfield, b. abt 1775, d. Jun 26, 1846 Searcy Co., and Mary Rogers, b. abt 1780, d. aft 1851 Searcy Co.
