Clif:

Gasaway R. Sutterfield was my 3rd gr grandfather. He was the son of Peter Moore Sutterfield and Mary Rogers.

Mary was the daughter of Nicholas "GASAWAY" Rogers Margaret Odell.

Nicholas "Gasaway" Rogers was the son of John Rogers and Susanna Gassaway.

Susanna was the daughter of Major Nicholas Gassaway and Catherine Worthington.

Nicholas was the son of Capt. Thomas Gassaway and Susanna Hanslap.

Thomas was the son of Nicholas Gassaway and Anne Besson.

Nicholas was the son of Thomas Gassaway and Anne Collingwood.

Also, my gr grandfather was William "Gasaway" Sutterfield who married Rhoda O. Barnes, who had a daughter, Ferby Sutterfield who married Thomas Andy Morrison, who had a daughter, Mabel Morrison, who married Elmer M. Lewis, and they had a son - me.
