You didn't provide very much information in your message. However, from the info. you did provide I SUSPECT your grandfather was: Edward Newton Sutterfield, b. Mar 12, 1908, d. Mar 25, 1991. He married Clara N. Hill on Apr 10, 1925 in Stone Co., AR.
Edward was the gr gr grandson of Peter Moore Sutterfield & Mary Rogers. Peter came to Searcy Co., Ar. in the early 1840's as well as seven of his grown children with their families. Peter died in 1846.
I wrote a book on Peter Moore Sutterfield & Mary Rogers. If you live in Mtn. View there is a copy at the library for your review.
Regardless, if your Sutterfield family lives in Mtn. View they are almost certainly descendants of Peter Moore Sutterfield.
