Looking for any information about Alice Sutter. Alice was born Lydia Alice Sparks in German Township, Darke County, Ohio in 1861. Her parents were Andrew Jackson and Mirand (Head) Sparks.She preferred being called Alice. She had two brothers; John H. and Ferdinand, and three sisters; Anna Marie who married Jacob Arter, Nancy C who married Tunis E. Moore and Martha E. Who married John Wesley Ashbaugh. She married a Mr. Sutter whose given name is unknown.
In the 1930 census and as late as 1939 she was living in Sutherland, Lincoln County, Nebraska. She is known to have at lest on daughter named Ora and perhaps a son named Chris. There may have been more children.
Alice's sister, Martha (Sparks) Ashbaugh was my grandmother.
