I am researching the Sexsmith families of the 1800's in Richmont Twp., Ontario, Canada. The SEXSMITH/SIXSMITH families came from Ireland (perhaps Queens County) in the early 1800's. Several children were given 'SUTCLIFFE' as their middle name. We were wondering if anyone has a record of a SUTCLIFFE/SEXSMITH/SIXSMITH marriage or family relationship in Ireland, Canada or U.S.in that time period. Some Sixsmiths settled in Kortright N.Y. before moving to Ontario and changing the name to Sexsmith.
