Barry,
The IGI shows Toussaint Surprenant marrying Julienne Roy 11 Apr 1837 at Lacadie, St. Jean, Quebec. There is also an entry for the christening of a Toussaint Surprenant at Lacadie on 2 Nov 1811, the son of Joseph Surprenant and Marguerite Langlois. This is of course the IGI so you will need to get the microfilm records from your local Family History Center of the Lacadie, St. Jean births and marriages for the period. The title of the film you want is "Eglise Catholique, Ste-Margueriet-de-Blairfindie (L'Acadie, Quebec) and the film number is 1031782 for the index, and 1031783 for the period covering the baptism of Toussaint, and 1031787 for the period covering the marriage.
