Hi Steve
Thanks for the info. I knew that Henry was a tailor but didn't know he had a shop. Likewise I didn't know about Louisa, Jane or Elizabeth but I have got Sarah 1835, Robert 1848 and I think William 1833. He appears on the 1861 census at the same address as Mary but with separate accommodation. He has a wife three children and is an Officer of Customs. There may still be others. So far I haven't been able to go back any further with certainty for either Mary or Henry but if anything comes to light will pass on the info. By the way this particular branch line has ended up in East Sussex ( via London)
Once again many thanks
Sheila & Rod Leach.
