There are many descendants of the southern Sunday family currently researching
the family history. This is a brief summary of all of the known children of John Sunday Sr., father of GW Sunday.

"John Sunday, Sr.(Born in Amsterdam, Holland)
Marriage # 1: l809 in Baldwin County, GA, to Barsheba Collins
(She died in the 1830's in childbirth.)
This marriage produced eight children as follows:
1. Barsheba (m: Elijah McCurdy)
2. William (m: Matilda Kelly)
3. Charlotte (m: Charles Owens)
4. Thomas (m: Anne McCurdy)
5. George Washington (m: Martha Johnson)
6. Francis (m: Mary)
7. Jackson (m: Mary M.)
8. John (m: Martha Jane Atkinson)

After the death of Barsheba Collins Sunday, John Sunday, Sr., then had four more children with "Jinny", who had taken care of his first wife.

Children with Jinny:
1. John Sunday, Jr. (m: Seraphine Landry) John Jr. was elected to the Florida state legislature in 1873.
2. Harrison Sunday (m: Danise Smith)
3. David Sunday
4. Amanda "Merced" Sunday (m: Valery Ruby, who fought in the Battle of Mobile Bay). Also, St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pensacola was founded by her in the late 1800's."

I will send you more info via email.
