Dear Philip

You contact me a while ago about living in a house in Colerne with John Sumsion 1738 on. I would be very please to hear about the history of this house. I have now been able to get back to 1745 when Samuel Sumsion was born to John Sumsion, he also had a brother John born 1741, I do believe that this house could have been my ggggg grandfathers. He would have been a Thatcher. Do you have the history of your house. Also there is a street of houses that was burnt down in 1774 in which gggg grandfather Samuel suffered losses, do you know if that was anywhere near you, it was mentioned about Charterhouse which is near, and I'm not sure if this was a farm house or something else. I also have a list of other names if anyone is interested.

Irene
