I too am in a bind. Solomon Hovis married Anne Summey . However, Solomon Hovis was also the bondsman for the marriage of Maraday (Merida) Queen and Sarah Lovinia Summey on Sept 25 1843. I assumed that Lovinia and Anne were sisters. I think I am wrong. Are they cousins and is Jacob Summey Lovinia's father. If so then the families probably came from Gaston, North Carolina. Please help me if you have any information. Thanks and let's keep digging. Wendy
