I am seeking information on William M. Summey and his wife Margaret. In 1850 they are in Polk Co., TN.

1850 Polk Co., TN Census

Margaret 34 F NC
Nancy I. 4 F GA
Mary E. 1 F TN

In 1860 they are in McMinn Co., TN.
1860 McMinn County, TN Census

Eglentine 28 F TN
Mary E. 5 F TN
Francis 2 F TN
William M. Summy 37 M Blacksmith NC
Margaret 36 F NC
Nancy 14 F GA
Catherine 3 F TN
Mary Conger 45 F domestic NC

I think that William Summy's wife Margaret is Margaret Cloninger, daughter of Jacob Cloninger, Sr. who moved his family from Lincoln Co., NC to Polk Co., TN after a time in Union Co., GA.

I would be interested in any information on William and Margaret.

How she managed to age only 2 years out of ten between censuses and wind up 2 years younger than her husband when she started out 7 years older, I have no idea.
