John Summerville of Irish parentage, born 1810, spent most of his long life in Oswego county, NY. First he resided in Granby then in Oswego Falls. He married Harriet b. 1815. They had 2 sons: Wallace b. 1848 in Granby and Fredric b.1856. Wallace in 1875 established a livery stable. He married Rebecca Bradshaw of Oswego Falls. John died after 1894.
