On the 1900 census, Pittsburgh, Allegheny Co, PA there's this family:
SUMMERS, John b. 1854, age 46, married 28 yrs. b. VA, both parents b. Germany, occ Mill Wright
wife Jennie b. Jan 1857, age 43, 10 children born, 5 living, b. PA, both parents b. PA
dau Annie b. Oct 1872 age illegible, married 7 yrs, 2 children born, 1 living b. PA, occ Waitress
dau Gertrude b. Mar 1877, age 23 b. PA occ Waitress
dau Margarette b. Dec 1881, age 18, b. PA
son Charles b. Feb 1887, age 13 b. PA
son Albert b. July 1892, age 7 b. PA
The John and Jennie in Clairton in 1910 are probably this couple. They are the right ages, same occupation and she has born and lost the same numbers of children. The son "William A" who is the only child still at home in 1910 is the right age to be the son Albert listed above.
