Priscilla, I do not have much more than what has been posted.Kenmare in Kerry is the Sullivan's origin. The genealogy is as follows: Jeremiah and Mary Karlin???Sullivan.(death certificate for son Jeremiah is difficult to read her last name) I have found a few Jeremiahs in that area using Griffiths and familysearch.org. but have not gone beyond that.
Mary came in the late 1860's with Jeremiah b. 1865 in Kenmare, and Elizabeth who erected the tombstone.I don't know if others were with Mary. The family eventually ended up in Rosendale, NY. There were other Sullivan gravestones there in the cemetery, but I don't know if they are related.
Jeremiah married Susan Murray in 1890, Rosendale, NY.They had the following:Edward J. Sullivan, 1892; Arthur A. Sullivan, 1893; John A. Sullivan, 1896; Mary Elizabeth, 1898; Joseph Alexander Sullivan, 1901;and Jeremiah F. Sullivan, 1903.The line that I am following is Joseph A. Sullivan. He and his family moved to Bridgeport, CT. Joseph eventually married Elizabeth Clark and moved to Waterbury, CT and died there. All of the others other than Edward died in Bridgeport, CT.
Hope this helps.
Sue
