Information on John Sullivan Washington Baptist Church, Pelzer, SC 1822 -1839
I am still seeking information on John and Sarah (Smith) Sullivan. They lived at Ware Place, SC from at least 1820 thru 1839.John was one of the founders of Washington Baptist Church according to Church history. He was not mentioned in the Church minutes after 1839.Their known children were Anna, John, Charles B. (married Nancy Parrot), and William R. (married Mary ? possibly McDougal).
Sarah was living in the home of Charles B. in 1850 and with Mary French in 1860. John was shown on the 1830 census as being between 40 and 50 years old and Sarah between 30 and 40 years old. Three Sullivans were listed in sequence on the 1830 census...John, John Doct (Dr. John Creasy Sullivan), and Thomas J.
Any information on who his parents were will be greatly appreciated.
