There was a lady of the POWHATEN TRIBE who married Michael
SULLIVAN (b 1794 Ireland), We do not know her name. Powhaten
was the head of the family and the tribe took their name after him. Michael must have immigrated sometime before 1793
because thatis the birthday of their first child,Randolph, (b.in Virginia). The family migrated to Ky before Nov 1795 when the next child,Judith, was born. Austin the last child was b.1798 in KY.
The family settled into Kentucky and many stayed for several generations.
