BJ.,
Thank you for the reply to my posting. It appears that "my" Mary is not the same, sorry. I show her as being born in Ireland, dob. 15, May, 1881- dod. 1959, Ohio.- She came to America, at the age of 17, and it is told that she was "alone" ('Where was the rest of the family, and why didn't anyone come with her?', I don't have those ans.,yet)-
She married George (either, Edward, or "L"?) Hughes. (In Ohio) -They had 6 children, the 6th. was also named "Mary", I believe her middle name was "Louise", I am pretty sure she never married, and in fact, was a nun.-(in Cincinnati, Hamilton co., Ohio)
At the present time, I know VERY little about the Sullivan lines.- "Your" Mary, may in fact connect, in some way, but, for now, I am not sure where, or how.?
The Sullivan's I am searching, seem to have located in, or near, the Dayton, Montgomery co., Ohio area- Ihave found some that were also in Cinn., Hamilton co., Ohio area, and do konw that one of the son's did later move to Fla. (where he lived out the rest of his life).
Some of the other namnes in the family are, Robert, John, George, Laurence (correct spelling), and Raymond.-
Some of the surnames I have with this line are, Hughes, Winston,Cordray,Bergman, Fletcher, and Fitzgerald. If you "know" any of these, please let me know. Maybe we can find a common thread.
Sorry I wasn't of more help, and good luck to you, in all of your searches.
