My GGGrandmother was Phebe (It is spelled Pheby on her tombstone)A. Sullins. Also on her tombstone her birth date is listed as October 12, 1840. According to Dr. Michael Cole, who has done extensive research on the Sullins line, Phebe was born April 1836 in Hall County, GA. My GGGrandmother Phebe A. Sullins married Elisha Madison Cox. He was born May 25, 1846 in Cherokee County, GA.
My GGGGrandfather (Phebe's father) was: John Fletcher Sullins. born approx 1805 in Rutherford, N.C. died 1860's in Alabam. married Susannah A. Butler. They had William; Nancy; Mary Norcisa; Sarah C; Phebe A.; JohnTom; and Susannah (Susan). I had some information on these children.
My GGGGGrandfather was: Zachariah Sullins. D.O.B. 1766-1773 (no specific dates as of yet). Born in Halifax County, VA. He also married a Phebe. I do not know her maiden name. They had William; Jesse; Salley; Nancy; Josiah; Noah; and John Fletcher. I have some info on these children.
My GGGGGGrandfather was: Josiah Sullins. D.O.B 1743 in Great Britian. Married Lavinia Witt, daughter of Charles Witt & Lamina Harbour. They were married in Halifax County, Va. Children: Zachariah; Jesse; Joseph.
My GGGGGGGrandfather was: Richard Sullins. Born at British Isles. I do not know who he married. Children are listed as John Sullins (born approx. 1739 in Great Britian. He married Jane Gill. Nathan Sullins, Sr. Borm approx 1741 in Great Britian and married Winefred (Mary) Mays. Third child was Josiah Sullins born approx 1743 in Great Britian who married Lavinia Witt.
