d. 27 Jan 1883

Robert's parents are of great interest to us........ a mystery we are STILL working on. What I do know is written below.
Robert's mother's name is unknown to us. John, according to our family legend -no document found yet, had Robert by an Indian woman -- ]
NOTE THE DATES OF JOHN AND CATHERINE'S MARRIAGE AND ROBERT'S BIRTH DATE....although if we are right and Robert is the product of John and an unidentified Indian woman , it still doesn't take away from the fact that two weeks after JOHN AND CATHERINE got married [22 OCT 1833], Catherine gave birth to John's second son, William Hamilton Solinger [4 NOV 1833]

Robert's parents
father- John A. Solinger
b. 1807 Little Sewickley, Westmoreland, PA
d. 15 JAN 1862 Trumbull, OH
m. 22 OCT 1833 Trumbull Co, Warren, OH

STEP-mother- Catherine Meek
b. 1807 PA
d. 25 DEC 1861 Trumbull Co, OH

my Robert had six HALF-siblings. two brothers and four sisters

Does this match anything you have? if so, I have more.
I am going to put a copy [shortened] on the sullinger home page
