I am seeking more information on any of the following people. If anyone can help me please respond.

Surnames: CHAPMAN, EDWARDS, EVERETT, FONES, FOSTER, HARTMAN, HEDRICK, HETRICK, HETTRICK, HOOTS, JACKSON, MINIUM, MINNIUM, REDICK, REDDICK, SALLERS, SAVAGE, SOLLARS, SULLENS

According to the Illinois Statewide Marriage Index Thomas JACKSON married Eliza SULLENS in Brown County, Illinois March 8, 1853 (Book A & B, Lic # 000002)
** Eliza's surname could also have been spelled - SALLERS, SOLLARS.

I found them in the 1860 Brown County, Cooperstown, Illinois Census
JACKSON, Thomas, 25 yrs. laborer, Indiana
JACKSON, Mrs. E., 27 yrs, Missouri
JACKSON, Geo. A., 4 yrs, Illinois
JACKSON, W. G. (male), 4 yrs., Illinois
SALLARS, Lafayette, 16 yrs, Missouri
SALLARS, Mary, 20 yrs, Missouri
SALLARS, Washington, 25 yrs. Missouri

I also found these burials:
Cemeteries of Brown County, IL., page 45, Hulett Cemetery:
Thomas JACKSON, (died 1 Oct, 1861, age 25 yrs.)
Eliza JACKSON (died 5 Oct. 1865, age 26 yrs)

No mention is found of what happened to that couple's two sons after their deaths.

I found this information in an old History of Schuyler County, Illinois: In November 1861, the grand jury returned an indictment against Pleasant REDICK for the murder of Thomas JACKSON. It seems Thomas JACKSON attacked Pleasant REDICK at his boarding house during a dance, when a fight broke out, over a dispute between the two men after JACKSON brought some of his friends to a dance. ( LaGrange, Brown County, Illinois ). Pleasant REDICK drew a knife and stabbed Thomas JACKSON, killing him instantly. Mr. REDICK was found guilty of manslaughter, sentenced to confinement in the penitentiary for his entire life. However, after serving a few years he was pardoned.

I am wondering if there is a JACKSON connection between the above, Thomas JACKSON, and the following Alexander JACKSON family. The reason being Alexander JACKSON (below) had a son Columbus JACKSON who married Cora Lee CHAPMAN on Feb. 2, 1887 ( Book C page 181, Lic # 00009075) in Schuyler County, Illinois. Cora Lee CHAPMAN ( b. abt. 1870) was a daughter of Samuel V. CHAPMAN (b. abt. 1846) and Mary (aka: Margaret) Addiline MINIUM or MINNIUM ( b. abt. 1852).
*** Note*** Columbus & Cora Lee JACKSON lived in Linn County, Kansas for several years and may have died there.
Other CHAPMAN siblings to Cora Lee were: Minnie May (married William HARTMAN & livied Chicago, Cook Co. IL., Arville (died 1887), Artille (married Jacob H. FOSTER & lived around Springfield & Auburn, Sangamon Co. IL.) & Wallace of William E. CHAPMAN. (possibly lived in Missouri) This family ties in with FONES surname also.

MINIUM or MINNIUM family connects to Pleasant REDICK or REDDICK. Connection between surnames by marriages - Hannah HETRICK, HETTRICK, or HEDRICK (b. 1837) marriage John A. MINIUM on June, 26, 1851 in Brown County, Illinois (Book A&B, Lic # 00000113) and then Pleasant William REDDICK (b. 1838) on July 18, 1861 in Brown County, Illinois ( Book A&B, Lic# 1020 )
---------------------------------------------------------
