I am looking for the parents of Angeline Wheeler who married George J. B. ("Bartow") Evans on November 2, 1879, in Gilmer County, Georgia. They were about 18 on the 1880 census. Apparently she was born 7/12/1862 and died 9/12/1904 in Blount County, Alabama. I believe he was born about the same time though some sources put him at 1865 but who knows he may have lied about his age to catch an older woman. I believe he died in 1928 or 1930 in Blount County, Alabama. I believe he is the son of Henry J. and Mary (Suddeth?) Evans and that she may be the daughter of John E. and Jane (Tucker)Wheeler, both sets of parents also being married in Gilmer County, Georgia. Now, her parents is just my guess. I have a weak source for his parents. Now, what I need is for someone to help me to find out for sure who the real parents of Angeline and Bartow. I can't find the 1870 census online to find out. Can you help me? Once I have that information, I will need to then find out who the parents are of those four people and then I am finished with my mother's genealogy as far back as I am taking it to complete her book my brother gave her. Any help at all will be appreciated. Thank you.
