Recent information that James Suddeth is buried at Greenshade Cemetery South of Bainbridge GA. He was in the 7th Cavalry Company B that was mustered in at Paris Ky on Aug. 16, 1862 and mustered out in KY July 10, 1865. He was with a group that went to Thomasville GA arriving there May 9, 1865. 25 men went over to the Bainbridge GA area for the purpose of receiving government property and paroling Confederate Soldiers. 7 died there in early June of 1865 of what is believed to have been Typhoid fever and were buried there after being nursed by local families in the area. I hope that this helps someone with their missing ancestor. Pat
