My great-great grandfather Allen R. Sudderth is buried in Wolf Valley Cemetery in Brown County, Texas. If you look on a map, the cemetery is on U.S. Highway 183 north of Brownwood, Texas, actually about 2-3 miles north of a very small town called May, Texas.Allen R. "Uncle Al" and his wife Adline Vaughn Sudderth are both buried there, as are some of their children and grandchildren, and my Dad, who was their great-grandchild.
I have been told that there is another Allen R. Sudderth, also from Georgia, who I believe was my great-great grandfather's nephew.I think (but am not sure at all!) that he lived and died in East Texas.
The Allen R. that I speak of was b 11/17/1819, married 11/3/1846 and d 11/6/1904.If we are speaking of the same Allen R., I would really be interested in sharing family tree information.
