Sir Robert had a sister named Mary who married Sir Charles Turner. Is it possible that your Mary Walpole and Anne Turner may in fact be only one woman making Mary the elusive Anne Walpole?(The actual identity of 'Anne' Walpole on several documents has been attributed to almost all of Colonel Robert's daughters at some point with much debate by several Walpole researchers). If you have any more information on Mary or Anne, I would greatly appreciate if you would share it with me.

Yours truly,
