New and now experienced...

It is easy for me to write that Genforum is a valuable tool. With it, I have met some people (cousins) and have been moved in the right directions (i.e. to the Sheldon Family Association). The success hasn't stopped there, but with my grandmother's side of the family, PAGE, I have been fortunate to have found someone who has already researched the family back several generations.

Post a name, and don't worry. I have posted names in maiden-name forums and have had excellent results.

Take what you read with a grain of salt, as everything is subject to verification. When you read something from several different sources, then you can begin to be comfortable with information. It is easy for someone to make a typo on a name or birthdate.

Thank you to the people at GenForum, and to all of you who have posted messages and who respond to those messages left.

Still Gene Hunting!

Jack.
