I am located in the Washington, D.C. area. My Boswells originally settled in Charles County, Maryland (Port Tobacco). They originated from Scotland, which has not been traced yet. My greatest difficulty is with John Boswell from Charles County because there were so many. Daniel Allman came in through the O'Brien family which became related through a Boswell descendant's marriage to an O'Brien.

Any other more specific information, you may e-mail me directly. I understand a bunch of Boswells went to Kentucky and Tennessee and some of my Charles County Boswells may have as well.
