Victoria,

I started doing my family history a year ago. Since then, with help of the generous people using Genforum and family, I have gotten the Edmiston and Stell lineages back to the early 1700's. My great aunt and uncle have been doing the Edmiston side for over 10 years and with just a few postings and patience, I have not only been able to verify most of their work, I have been able to go four generations further back then they did.
Remember, researching takes time, but it also takes alot of patience. Good luck!
Ron
