My Grandfather was just about 11-12 years old.He was with his Aunts and Uncles on their way home to the small Island they lived on , in Munkedal Harbour,Western Sweden.
Grandpa Tage Ivan Levholm ,told me this in 1997 something.
He was robbed in 1998 , and died some time thereafter from his injuries.There where Three men an a woman,who was beautiful. One of the men could play boogie-woogie-accordion,one was a carpenter with rasta-hair-do,the third had fierceful eyes.Though its not possible to complete the story I heard in 1997-something-summer , in Munkedal Harbour. He lived his last years alone as Grandma Gunhild Malvina Johanna Levholm past away in 15th Dec 1993.
they lived just 100 yards apart,island to mainland,as they grew up.Anyway this evening shade night someday in november-december between 1924-1926 ,as he,Tage,told me his cousin mr.Paul Murbecks parents buildt their home in Munkedals Harbour finished that summer,they,Grandpa Tage and Aunties and Uncles was in a rowboat crossing the river to get to their home on the island,they suddenly saw a very strong light approacing in the fjord from the west.
It was not the moon , and not a comet,and it was very bright,so bright that one of Grandpas aunties looked at it for several minutes and got blind for three weeks thereafter,she thought it was Good Al Mighty.
But Grandpa Tage was scared and pulled his Jacket over himself and lay tight to the bottom om the boat,shivering.
As I reccon it was,the same Phenomena that occured 1971 in 26november 20.05 over Vindyisland,Orust,South-West Sweden.
That was misty and cows and bird was sounding the evening.
Then they where quiet , and the sky was clear ,then a great light in the sky appeared. At firsth the four 8-9year old children,thought it was the moon. But it had a different colour , and small electrical charges in bluish was in sight over the surface,and then,she said:" i saw the pattern underneat". Then the light was strong and it flew over the Noetesunds Bridge and disapeared at great accelerating velocity up and to the north-east.
It must have been the same vehicle that was on a BBC-documentary over Oxfirdshire 15 november 1971, daytime.
That was high altitude metallic overside and totally black underneath ,like a thick lense of magnifying glass in the sky.It had one easter edge electric flash , and then very suddenly took of into a great apearing cigaretteshaped cloud thus disapearing from eyes , and after a while a thin streak of condencestring was the only residue from its journey easterly direction.
