All descendants of William Sublett and Susannah Allen have a couple of famous cousins in Washington, D.C.
Susannah Allen Sublett's brother Valentine Allen is the great-great-great-great-great-grandfather of both U.S. Senator John McCain (R-Arizona) and First Lady Laura Bush.
So if you are descended from William Sublett and Susannah Allen, President Bush's wife and daughters are your cousins, as is the Republican candidate for president.
