hi i was searching for my family history and i found your site. My great Grandfather's name was Joseph (jose) Goularte and he was from the Azores. I believe he was from the island Pico, but he moved to Ripon, California after he married my great grandmother, Carmen Oliveras(?) He owned a dairy ranch in the Ripon/Manteca area. If you have any iformation please post it. Thank you
