My grandfather died without telling anybody about his roots. HIs name is Juan Francisco Villejera Suarez. He married Simeona Mendoza here in the Philippines and had three sons and five daughters. My grandmother used to tell my father that my grandfather came to the philippines as a captain of a merchant vessel. He settled in the Philippines and we know only of a sister who also lived here in the Philippines, her name we know as Nenita.
My cousin went to Asturias, Spain before mygrandfather died. He was given the coat of arms of our family to show our relatives there but since I was young then, I never saw it and have been unable to find it now. My cousin does not know also where it has been placed after he returned it to my grandfather. I hope to find answers just to know about my roots.
