Hi, I have a John C.Styles b. At Maidstone, Eng. went to sea at age 12 and was in Ontario in 1820's. Married Mary Lewis of Edwardsburgh,( now Cardinal) dau. of Henry Lewis. Moved to Edwardsville, St. Lawerence Co., N.Y. He had been in Montreal for a short while, was a 1812 War Veteran under Gen. Alexander McComb at Plattsburgh, N.Y. a Sgt. in Navy. Any familiar connections? Let me know. George Thomas
