I don't know if my Stuyvesants will tie in with your Arthur, but since it is such an unusual name and they all seem to go back to Peter Stuyvesant, I'll bet someplace along the line we'll find that we can relate them.
Van Buren Co. is where mine and the Greenmans who marr'd them were, but I have found that Flint was another area where they located for some time. About 1890 to 1915. These were Frank and Mina (Wilcox) Greenman and their son, Don. Mina's mother was a Stuyvesant, Roseanna (Roxina?). Wonder if they weren't living in Flint, to be closer to her family? I'll keep your Arthur's name on my "look for" list with my Stuyvesants and see if we can't find out the connection.
