I am not researching these people, just entering information. From the booklet "Western Maryland Genealogy, Volume 2, #4, Oct 1986, is the following:
"Book Reviews - 'Jacob Stutzman (?-1775): His Children and Grandchildren' by John Hale Stutesman, Jr., 1982; reprint 1983.Order from 305 Spruce St., San Francisco, CA94118"
"The immigrant Jacob Stutzman, a Dunker, settled in Lancaster County (now Adams), Pennsylvania, ca 1750.In 1761 the family moved to a farm in Washington County, MD, bisected by the Mason-Dixon line in 1764.A few years later he moved to Cumberland Co., PA, where he died testate in 1773.He was naturalized in 1767.According to colonial law, an alien could not legally sell or devise land, the reason many Germans were naturalized.Of his six children, David, Plantina who married Philip Stone, Jacob and wife Christian Ulrich, Hannah and her husband Philip Lear, and Abraham all moved to Montgomery County, Ohio. The other son, Daniel, died in Bedford County, PA in 1835.The first half of the book deals with the first three generations of this family. The second part includes the author's direct lineage from the fourth generation on, as well as accounts of collateral lines.
There is a note at the end of the review that the author welcomes correspondence.
